KATE MEDOWAYA
PORTRAIT AND FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER, ART CRITIC, WRITER
Born in 1984 in St. Petersburg, Russia, she graduated from the course of History of World Culture, Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts with a degree in art, the world art of fashion. She studied with leading teachers and professionals of fashion and costume history, the history of fashion photography and journalism. Received additional education in the New School Photo College, St. Petersburg, courses Professional photography, Art retouching, Street Fashion, The University of Wedding Photography.
Since 2011 she has been working as a photographer — a freelance photographer. She has collaborated with fashion designers, stylists, makeup artists, model agencies, magazines.
In 2014 she began to work on the author’s art project, The Shadow, later published in the magazine Your story.
Since 2015 she resides in New York, USA, where she continues her career as a photographer, writer, creates art projects, bringing to fruition her most daring dreams.
In 2016 she founded her own company, Honey&Dreams Photography, in New York.
Kate has photographed famous musicians, actors, models, bloggers and influencers. She created for fashion brands and designers, published in fashion magazines, collaborated with top modeling agencies, fashion stylists and makeup artists.
In 2016 she opened the new author art project Red Door.
Kate has a unique style, special sense of beauty, and her personal vision is ahead of the time. Her true talent for seeing beauty in every moment and in every person is visible in every photo.
She is also known for her novels and is currently working on her next book.
Her powerful belief in the power of dreams and the beauty of the world moves this World forward step by step. Her bright nature shines like a star and helps people around to light their dreams and find opportunities to realize them.
